Outdoor Walking Meditation - Dyke Marsh Trail

GRTS's first in-person event of 2021 will be on a Saturday morning outdoors! RSVP below.

Let's get together for an informal walk, about 2 miles total, along the Potomac River on the Dyke Marsh Trail in Alexandria, Virginia. Please bring a mask to wear for pandemic safety.

Meet 10am at the Belle Haven Park benches by the public restrooms building located between the park's two parking lots. See where on Google Maps. Note - If need to use restrooms there, bring your own toilet tissue!

Paying attention of the environment and sensations with each step, talking will be minimal while on the trail. Afterward, we may choose a picnic table in Belle Haven Park to share refreshments and reflections. The terrain is flat, rated an easy hike. The trail is unpaved, hardpacked dirt covered by pea gravel with a boardwalk traveling into Dyke Marsh Wildlife Preserve.

Look forward to a walking meditation event scheduled each month to come.
