Our Dharma hall is at 4900 16th St NW, Washington D.C. hosted by Nipponzan Miyohoji Buddhist Order inside their DC dojo temple at the northern corner of Bladgen Ave NW and 16th St NW.

We regret the 100-year old residential building is not wheelchair accessible. A few stair steps are at the entrance and to access bathrooms on the ground floor. Both bathrooms are single-user all-gender.

Weekly Meeting

The service with chanting practice and meditation on Sunday mornings begins at 10:00am. Help with set up if you can arrive early will be appreciated. If your first time visiting, please arrive a few minutes early for greetings and orientation.

The service ends 11:30am and transitions to informal time for tea and snack food offerings. You may bring your own reusable travel mug.

Public Transportation/Parking

Street parking in the neighborhood is free on Sundays, however look out for emergency no parking date(s) restricted signs taped on trees and posts, and don't park in bus stop zones.

S2 and S9 Metro Bus lines stop nearby. Use www.wmata.com ride guide or maps.google.com for directions.
